The position is for a Lead Software Engineer who will work with highly talented and energized Engineers to oversee design, development, and unit testing for Platform applications. You will work closely with business partners and stakeholders to provide solutions for business requirements. Responsible for working with integration partners to establish application integrations with internal and external applications.

Job Responsibilities:
Work with Analysis, testing, and business owner teams to understand desired system functionality.
Ability to run a knowledge transition program
Primary developer for high-complexity functions.
Provide technical support and expertise to other development team members.
Provide development lead with work estimates—drive Technology Architecture decisions.
Create technical design documents.
Create a development environment.
Ensure that code meets development specifications and is maintainable (comments, supporting documentation).
Create and execute unit tests exercising the code’s functionality and compatibility with other features before turning the code over to the test team.
Communicate and defend design, requirements, feature set, functionality, and systems limitations. Resolve code issues raised by analysis or test teams.?
Work with developers and other members of the project team, product and program managers, and vendors in accomplishing objectives.
Develop tools to aid the development process (e.g., basic test automation for all developers to run locally before check-in)
Participate in code reviews of other developers’ work. Deliverables include Technical Architecture, Technical Design Specification, thoroughly commented Code, and Technical User Guide.

.NET, REST API, SQL applications in Azure.
Strong knowledge of git (command line)
Experience with project management tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar and Power BI is preferred
